I don't think so. When you flip the screen out, it says that it needs the cable in order to function.

With free shipping. If you order direct from that company or pacparts your going to have to pay shipping. So ebay would be the best bet, you'll save $11.50 bucks. Trust me, I would buy the cable and resell for higher but I can't wait and I have no use for this headunit. I have a alpine d310 that I'll be using instead of the kenwood. So I would like to get this sold asap.

All you need is the brain cable. If bought from ebay, it should get to you in a week.
