Kenwood KVT-819DVD & DDX8019 any good?

My friend owns a shop in SoCal and we went through school together, built some awesome cars. I spoke to him the other day and he raved about it. I owned a shop for a short time and have to give credit to Kenwood. They have great sound and did a great job and are just getting better as I can tell. I am thinking of the DNX7100, but may step down to what you are looking at(Price wise) until I can sell some stuff. Just my 2 cents.

hey whats the big difference btw the 819 and 719 and is there going to be a 919?

Not much a few inputs. Like 2 usb inputs and stuff like that. The biggest is 5volt preout vs a 2 volt preout... I have the kvt-719dvd and absolutely love it... and i have a RF 360.2 for all my eq's and it has 5 volt preouts so it was not worth the inputs (y cables)...

Hope that helps

Joe
