Kenwood KTC-SR903 vs. SIR-KEN1?

Is there any difference? I've currently got a 903 that kenwood is telling me that either the antenna or module is busted and i should replace it with the KEN1. I don't see the point in buying a KEN1 unless the sound quality or something else is faster/better about it.
