Kenwood KFC-W3009 subs

Hello I have allready searched for info on this sub on the threads and have found nothing. Can any one tell me if these subs are any good? I was wanting to put 2 of these in my civic with a 500wrms profile amp. This is my first install and I think will do untill i save up to get an all alpine setup. Will this give me seat shaking bass or just some thump? I would love some imput on these subs. So far i only have an alpine HU and some alpine type r 6'1.2 comps. Maybe you could get one Type R instead of the pair of Kenwoods? Then just add a second Type R later.....

They work fine, they have dual progressive spiders and prefer ported boxes. We sell them at my shop and have never had one back for warranty.

Have you considered Adire, and RE? they have subs that will outperform the 3009's for the same money, don't get horny over brand names just get what will perform best for yor budget.
