This deck pretty much has every bell and whistle you'll ever need with the exception of 3 way active. It does have sub out lpf and front and rear hpf...up to 24db slopes on each preout set.. With the background set to light green I had the best results with visibility in direct sunlight. I read alot of reviews saying the glare was bad on this deck. IMO its not worse than any other deck I've used in direct sunlight. I love the flexibility of the colors to match your interior. Blue buttons and light green background worked beautifully for me. Between the TA, 5 band EQ, 4v outputs, 24bit DAC's, and VERY FAST usb file searching this deck has served me very well. I ran my 3 way active fronts off the front outputs, and the sub off the sub out put and the TA worked wonders.
This 2008 kenwood ran circles around the 2010 alpine cda-117 I had before this. With a nearly full 16gig usb thumb drive connected it was still very fast.

This is a refurb that I bought here last year and I fell in love with it. The one and only reason I'm getting rid of it is that I've upgraded to an Avic N5 (I gave into the temptation of navi).....Although certain things like TA and very flexibile crossovers are something I'm loosing going to the Avic. The features on the kenwood are also very quick and easy to get to once you're familiar with the layout. Sub control is right there with one click of the left knob. searching in/out/up/down folders if incredibly fast with the right knob. I also like to set the background to where it displays the album info, track/file info, time/date, and a small spectrum analyzer all on the screen in a neat and easy to read fashion.
Cosmetically there are very very minor hair line scratches here or there the face, looks new when the face is illuminated. Comes with blue tooth mic, ipod to usb direct connect cable, remote, manual, box, and trim. One of the 4 tabs that connect the trim to the deck broke off, however with the other 3 attached to the deck you wont have any issues with it. The trim never gave me any issues with staying on, even with some verrrry intense vibrations from my substage.
Price:
Looking to get $150 +ship. As I love this deck I'd rather keep it for a rainy day (or my wife's car) than sell it for less. Trust me it'll rock your face for the price paid.
