Kenwood KDC-X991 or Alpine 9887R

Hello,

I'm wondering which of those 2 decks I should buy.... My current deck is a Pioneer DEH P7600MP which I bought a few years ago. The Pioneer has a nice sound but sometimes you want something new..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The Kenwood looks great and has a nice motorized slide-down mechanism, USB and an internal memory of 512 Mb. The Alpine has the IMPRINT-sound and looks nice too.

I own a VW Jetta and I didn't change the factory speakers. I added a JL Audio 500/1 and a JL Audio 10W6V2 subwoofer.

Which of those decks do you recommend?

Well, I have X-990 and let me tell you I have been nothing but happy with it. This deck is the bomb. The X-991 is very similar. The tweeking controls on them are just amazing. Absolutly wonderful sq with class. You can also have numerous designs on your face or download desigsn, to make that deck even sweeter. Of course that Alpine deck is nice, but I would go with the X-991. You won't be dissapointed.
