Kenwood kdc x-395 quit

My head unit stopped playing USB and then tried to switch to cd and it kept blinking reading and I know the cd was fine just played three hours before, and the tuner would play fine, thought I might need to turn it off and turn it back on. Turned off and never came back on??? It's only like 7-8 months old I'm gonna take it to the ppl that installed and have then see if its a fuse or bad ground or something, highly doubt it but still. Also if I need to get a new one what is a good company and model number to buy I like the idea of the jvc kw av60 vs kenwood kiv-701. But in kind of wary to buy another kenwood he'll I don't want this to happen again. I want to keep my spending in the 230 area and down
