well it says optional auxiliary input which usually means theres a converter that plugs into the cd changer port and gives you an aux port, at least thats how it is on the pioneers. If you could find out for me Ill be more then interested in buying.

Oh yea....what do you need to use it? My kenwood Keg was attached to that...Look it up on Kenwoods site...or I'll do it later..

Yep it is an adapter that takes the place of the cd changer. Any kenwood dealer has em including bestbuy.

Manoman! Wish I had the extra scratch...I'd get it to stick in the g/f's ride.

Logikalliquid has it right. It takes an adapter that will have the 13-pin plug-in that goes into the back of the head unit to the cd changer/music keg/amplifier A.M.S port and terminates into a pair of RCAs. Crutchfield's got 'em and I would assume any other Kenwood dealer would have 'em as well.
