kenwood kac-929?

hi. my brother has one of these 2 channel amps and there is a cooling fan , maybe 2 not sure. but anyway, even when the car is cold and amp is cold, the amps fan(s) kick on almost immediately when the car is started. does anyone know why this could be ?? thx!

so it NEVER shuts off, and is ALWAYS automatically on with the car ???
