Here goes another one, ladies and gentlemen. Cap'n Kenwood is offering the next item up for grabs in his seemingly endless stream of decent deals on used car audio gear. Have a look!

What we have on the table today is a Kenwood (whatta surprise, right?) model # KAC-746 Class A/B multichannel amplifier. This unit can be used in regular 4 channel mode as well as be configured for 3 or 2 channel operation.

She's not in the best shape cosmetically, sadly, but operationally it has tested to be on the money! I have not tested the inbuilt high-level inputs or the RCA pass-through outputs but as everything else works I have no reason to think they would not operate properly. There is good clean output from all 4 channels, the inbuilt HP and LP crossovers function correctly as labeled, and all the terminal screws are present.

Features:

RMS ratings ~

35w X 4 @ 4 Ohm stereo

50w X 4 @ 2 Ohm stereo

100w X 2 @ 4 Ohm mono bridged

The ability to create 4 channels' worth of output with only a 2 channel input (no Y-splitters needed here!)

Inbuilt high-level (speaker wire) inputs eliminate the necessity for using a line-out converter if intended for use with a stock head unit and allows the user to incorporate this amp into any system whether basic or involved.

RCA pass-though outputs allows the user to daisy-chain the HU's output signal to another amplifier without needing to run another set of interconnects from the source.

Output levels make it a good choice for the DIYer who uses low-power drivers, the just-starting-out novice who needs a bit more punch than their head unit can provide, or someone maybe wanting a decent amp on a budget to drive a set of components.

Those of you who see me on the forum regularly know I do not play around with my For Sale threads/items. What you see is what you get. If it is less than it is advertised, it isn't my item. Period.

For those that are not familiar with my presence on CA.com my references are easily found/linked to in my posting signature. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

G-minnow ~

I've sent you a PM with your shipping info.

My email's being cantankerous and for some reason doesn't want to let me send you a mail with the info but as soon as it gets an attitude adjustment you'll be getting an e-mail with the info as well.

Amp's on its way! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif
