kenwood ipod adapter

i have a kenwood indash and just got the kca-ip5000 or w/e. in the directory it only shows my ipods name (rob's ipod). do i have to upload the songs in the ipod a certain way?

anyone who has this on a kenwood indash tell me how yours operates

i just hooked mine into the usb of the x890. and it worked great. never once had the interface. But I know mine required that i run my ipod through the phatnoise software that came with it.

mine works great, its louder and a little clearer then cds. but it wont display song names or folders
