I am needing an amp that will put out 250x2 @ 4 ohms. I am on a budget so I am needing to know which one of these will be most reliable and put out the most power. The links below will take you to each model. Thanks for any input, it is greatly appreciated.

Neither of those are 250x2 at 4 ohms

get the Txi series .. instead of the Zxi .. i think they look much better

what are you powering with this? If it's for subs then it's better if you just run a monoblock amp. And like it's been stated, none of those will do 250x2@4ohm

I have been unable to find a mono amp that will work (under $150). I was looking for something that would do 500x1 @ 1 ohm. Are kicker amps underrated? I was looking at the zx450.2, it is more than I was looking to spend, but looks like it may be worth it. Thanks for any input.

yeah they are deff underrated.

May be underated but they aren't always stable a 1 ohm

Im gonna either hook it up at 2 ohms per channel or 4 ohms bridged, I am not planning on using the Kicker @ 1 ohm. I am still hoping to run across something on ebay or in the f/s section.

Ive found 2 amps that I am considering now. First is the Kicker ZX450.2. Second is a Fosgate P550-2. Will the fosgate do rated power? I can get it cheaper by a few bucks, and it seems to really fit what I am needing. Thanks a lot everyone.

If you're looking for a 1ohm stable mono amp, on the cheap, check out the Crunch PZI1000.1 or 1500.1 . I have been running it for a year and a half with no probems what so ever. Should put out more power than you want, and I paid $160 shipped. I'm sure you could find i cheaper. It's a great budget amp IMO, unless you look used.
