Kenwood Excelon X889 vs X990

I can get the two, X889 for $275 shipped and the X990 for $315 shipped. The only big difference I see between the two is the display. I'm wondering which would be better in sunlight, the 64 color fine dot or the OEL? And are there any other features I'm missing to justify me spending the extra money? Appreciate the input!

The 4096 color OEL on the X990 (i think it is the same display as my XXV-01D) is worlds better in direct sunlight than the 64 color fine dot flourescent.

Additionally the 990 uses Wolfson DACs in place of the Burr-Brown converters in the 889. I do not know if that will result in appreciably better SQ but allegedly it is an impovement.

Hey, where did you find the x990 for $315 shipped. Thats a good deal. I was almost set on the x889 intill I saw that price. Thanks in advance for the reply.
