Kenwood Excelon KDC-X790 or Pioneer Premier DEH-P680MP

I'm looking at head units and these two have caught my attention. They are extremely similar in price from what I have found. I was wondering if anyone had some input or personal experience with either unit. Whether it be build quality issues or sound quality and control features I'd like to hear what you know.

Open to suggestions and comments.

The unit will currently be used in a Monte Carlo with stock interiors, light powered dual eclipse 10" sw6. Eventually it will go up to mid-level components inside and moderatedly powered bass in the trunk. Most likely a single 15" 9500 or H2.

Just bought and installed the x790. Here is my opinion...

Screen display - sucks

iPod controlls - ****

Build quality, sound quality, look of unit, sound adjustments, functionality of unit, Qualities of unit = Very Very Satisfied and Happy with
