I have a kenwood excelon amp up for sale. It is stable to 4, 2, and 1ohm mono. Great amp with tons of xover and bass boost features.
It is a refurbished model, and when i hooked the power up the first time, it sparked and a little smoke came out from underneath the amp. That worried me, but when i plugged it in it worked, and no fuses were blown. I have it hooked up to an SS-RLP 12, and it sounds good. Sometimes i wonder if it isn't working to full potential, then i change the song and my rearview rattles. I can't guarantee it puts out full power, but i remember talking to a guy who was an electrical engineering tech and amp repairman, and he said if an amp worked at all, it should be full potential. Anyway, i just got an mtx 500d, so with these couple of issues, i will sell cheap. I guarantee not DOA, and i have tons of references , and my ebay feedback is brian_davis16, with 79 positive and no negative.
Here are pics of it working:
it has the cover, but the seller didn't include the screws. should be easy to find.
here is a pic of the back of the board:
Looking for $100 shipped priority mail. Any less than that i might just keep it or sell to a friend.
