Alrighty, ladies and gents. I've got a new project in mind (please don't ask ~ I'm keeping it to myself for the time being as there is a real chance it will never happen anyway if I cannot find the funding for it) that I need to free up some cash to accomplish and sadly the only way to do that right this moment is to see if I can sell off some of the gear I have taking up excess space.

Three different pieces of equipment, all Kenwood, all eXcelon.

First up:

Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X679 Head Unit

This deck was purchased new in Apr 2004, by me, from Crutchfield. I ran it in my car until upgrading to the XXV-01D I run currently.

See here for the Crutchfield product page with complete details.

AM/FM/CD-receiver with .mp3 and .wma file playback.

Three sets of 5v RCA preamp outputs (Front, Rear, Subwoofer)

Built-in HP filters for the Fr and Rr preouts and built-in LP filter for the Sub outs.

Adjustable viewing angles on the faceplate.

Not new, certainly, but it works just as if it was.

I have everything it came with new (faceplate case, wiring harness, original box with all associated paperwork, removal keys, ISO-DIN mount screws, permanent faceplate attachment screw, etc)

Looking for $155/shipped

Next up is one of the earliest eXcelons before they even labeled them as such:

Kenwood Performance Standard KAC-PS150 2-channel amplifier

Built-in LP filter, variable from 30~200Hz.

Fan cooled (single fan)

RMS Ratings according to the owner's manual:

75w X 2 channels @ 4 Ohms

110w X 2 channels @ 2 Ohms

220w X 1 channel @ 4 Ohm mono bridged

Looking for $80/shipped

And an even older eXcelon from the days before being labeled as such, the Kenwood Performance Standard KAC-PS300T 2-channel amplifier.

Built-in LP crossover, 18dB/octave slope, variable from 50~200Hz

Built-in HP crossover, 12dB/octave slope, variable from 50~200Hz

Fixed On/Off SSF @ 25Hz

Fan cooled (dual fans)

This thing is truly built like a tank. It sounds good, it's got some "Ooomph!" for a 2ch, good filtering, and cosmetically it's a decent-looking amp.

12vdc RMS output:

75w X 2 channels @ 4 Ohms

150w X 2 channels @ 2 Ohms

300w X 1 channel @ 4 Ohm mono bridged

14.4vdc RMS output:

100w X 2 channels @ 4 Ohms

200w X 2 channels @ 2 Ohms

400w X 1 @ 4 Ohm mono bridged

Looking for $125/shipped

If anyone wants all three items I will be happy to make a package deal out of them at a discounted price.

I accept PayPal if the buyer adds 3% of the item's cost to offset the fees.

I accept money orders, cashier's checks, and personal checks. (please be advised that I will hold shipment of any items paid for in that fashion until the funds clear my back account excepting a money order from the USPS)

I happily accept cash if you are willing to send it through the mail but I accept no responsibility regarding whether or not it actually reaches my mailbox.

References are listed and linked in my posting signature.

Thanks for looking!
