kenwood ddx998 for active?

Ok question about my headunit how does it compare to the pioneer 80prs? Second how is this head unit for going active or should I stay passive? I have a jl amp with the front 2 channels available. I put some powerbass direct replacement speakers in the dash powered from the HU and factory 6x9 in the doors still.

it doesn't do active.. I'd say the prs80 is abit better though. if you really want a good deck that is a REAL hi res deck grab the DDX6903S.

Ok I have the kenwood the already. Ive had it a while so no big deal.

Id say its a very clean CD player. you are much better off getting a decent processor though..

there is no active capabilities with your head unit nor your amp so active is not an option for you.

Yeah I'm not messing much with that just a basic little street beater system man. I'm good with the kenwood
