Kenwood DDX7017 Questions

I bought a truck that has Kenwood DDX7017 well the manual says DDX7017-7047 So I'm not sure what unit I have but here is my questions

I was looking through the manual and it says that I can hook it up so that when my phone rings it turns down the volume on my unit but I can't figure out how to set that up. The manual is really pretty bad at telling you how to get to certain menus and whatnot.

Also my other question is is that I heard there was a secret settings menu for debugging and stuff like that were you can set weather you need to be in park or not for watching dvd's can anyone confirm that?

The cell phine mute has to be wired in, and that information is in the installation manual. It's intended to be used with a permanently mounted cell phone. If you ground the parking brake wire, that will allow you to watch movies while you are moving.

That mute wire is for aftermarket bluetooth. Kenwood makes a bluetooth box that plugs right into that screen which is very nice, especially if you have a screen. If you wanted to you could wire in a button/switch hooked up to your mute wire to mute if you wanted to switch that.
