ok, my buddy has this reoccurring error message pop up. I DID NOT INSTALL THIS. I am merely trying to fix the issue. Last time, I rewired the harness, and it went away for about a week or so. Now yesturday it popped up again. What am i missing here? We are both military and we go on our post deployment block leave starting this weekend, so I want to make sure his radio works for his long drive from Fort Stewart GA to Wisconsin. Please give me some insight.

what kind of vehicle? if you have a dmm double check powers grounds and ohms of the speakers. Also make sure there is no continuity between speakers and ground.

if its one that has a box that you stash behind the radio then I would try this. Disconnect the acc wire from the radio. Wire a relay to trigger off the acc wire coming from the box. use the 12v constant as a source for power and connect the radio to the output of the relay.

yeah it has a little box.

just as a side note, this truck has had the same subs and amp for a few years but he had a headunit, components and coaxial's installed while we were deployed, so i am afraid I will have to rip the interior apart to try to find the culprit
