Kenwood DDX 7017--HELP

Hey guys.. This is my first post..

I just picked up this DDX 7017 and installed it in my 99 Tahoe.

Well, first off, it does not give me an option to play CD's. For the SRC, it goes thru video, standby, DVD, tuner.. But NO CD, what gives?

And for the speakers, It will not play on my rear door speakers or my headliner speakers. The rear top speakers will play if I go to the ZONE control and select reverse.. And then only the rear play and no front.

I downloaded the manual for the HU online, and it seems vague on how to setup it up to play thru all of the speakers..

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, I'm about ready to drop kick this **** thing, since I had to spend about 2 hours getting this HU to fit in my Tahoe since it was not made to take a double DIN.

kenwood double dins dont have a cd button. You play all cds and dvds with the dvd button.

as far as the speakers im not sure

Okay, but in the manual it shows a SRC option as CD.....

On the 7017 when you go to DVD, it will check what's on the disc and automatically play it as a video or music CD.

As for the speakers, how do you have them hooked up? And are you sure you have everything setup correctly in the setup menu?
