Kenwood ddx-419 random restarts

Installed a kenwood about 3 weeks ago and about once a day it will just randomly freeze and shut down. Then it restarts and is fine for awhile. I thought it was a bad unit so I brought it back and got another one. It is doing the same thing. Any idea what the problem may be ? I have tried grounding the unit to 3 different places with the same results

Well at least I got 172 views. This headunit is a total pos. I'm on my 2nd brand new unit and it freezes and reboots every time I get in the truck. Doesn't anyone else have this unit and does it have problems ?

I had a 419 and it would freeze up on me too. Overall I hated the unit. I was always a big Kenwood fan but, I really think they missed the mark on this one. I found the whole unit to be very slow. I took it back and got a Pioneer which I like way more.
