think it depends on the year and model number mate..... i'd prob say you'd get actual rated power out of most models, mabey a lil bit more than rated power on excelon models..

Its a KAC-9104 CLASS D 1800 watt amp. It is rated at 500 rms at 4 ohms. Should i get it?

WTF. Ive been reading some customer reviews about the amp i bought and people are saying it cuts out after being turned up loud. WTF is that. Why would it do this and for how long?
