pickup1 5,000+ posts CarAudio.com Veteran 8,650 26 Polk City Fl Aug 24, 2014 #2 need a "keyed" source...so it turns off with the key...or you could've gotton a loc that has that built in. Me personally,i would put a switch inline....so the amps not constantly trying to turn on when cranking.
