Kenwood Amp Got Wet

I currently have a Kenwood KAC-9152D amp, powering my one Alpine Type R sub. During the winter my car's trunk leaked a little from all of the snow, and the amp got wet. I opened the trunk and saw a little puddle on the amp. I opened the thing up with no noticable flaws or anything. Is there any way to get it fixed? I looked at the warranty but it doesn't apply to my situation.

If it's not fixable, what kind of amp would be recommended? I will never buy from Kenwood again, since this is the second time my amp died on me, the first time being for no apparent reason at all. Plus all of the people who had kenwoods before only had trouble with them. Any suggestions? Price range would be about $200.

Have you turned it on since it got wet? If you haven't, just let it dry and it will be fine.

If you have turned it on, does it work or go into protect mode?

I don't quite know what you mean.

The amp worked fine the day before, then the next morning just didn't turn on. That's when I checked the amp and found the small puddle on the amp. Since then I did take the amp inside, took it all apart and just let it sit for like 3 days making sure everything was dry. Then I went to go test it out, and it doesn't even turn on. There's a small spark in the beginning, but after that there's no response at all from the amp.

hrm, may be time for a new amp then.

He was asking what voicecoil configuration your subwoofer was. It will help us to pick an amp for you

Dual 2 ohm Dual 1 ohm single 4 ohm etc.
