This was dumb, it was staged so that people would feel bad for Taylor Swift and buy more of her albums.....wake the **** up.

you think kanye would do this at the risk of more people hating him? they kicked him out after he did it. i dont believe it was staged. if it was then beyonce probably wouldnt of given up her stage time at the end to allow taylor to give her speech.

but oh well I hope one day MTV stages Kanye West ****ing up my award acceptance speech, then whichever female pop star has been assigned the archetypal role of humble Queen can invite me onstage for my "moment to shine." Justice being served, everyone will cheer for my victory and my fans will love me soooo much and will definitely buy the next 2 CDs I put out, even if it was almost time for their interest to wane... it wasn't staged man. They have a video on youtube of his backstage at the 07 awards and he was cussing and *****ing like a little girl for like 5 minutes straight because he didn't win. He's just a ignorant selfish little *****.

ABC's Moran removes tweet with Obama swipe at Kanye

ABC News reporter Terry Moran caused quite a commotion tonight on Twitter after writing the following: "Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a "jackass" for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential."

Although it wasn't long before Moran removed it, with over a million followers, the tweet quickly bounced around Twitter through various users. (And it can still be found here).

Now, an ABC spokesperson explains to POLITICO what happened:

In the process of reporting on remarks by President Obama that were made during a CNBC interview, ABC News employees prematurely tweeted a portion of those remarks that turned out to be from an off-the-record portion of the interview. This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again.

The White House had no immediate comment.
