This is a temp. setup for the amp. When I get my wire in and installed it will look all clean.

Did you just caulk the holes for the speaker wire on the inside? I made a couple poor boy binding posts with bolts and washers, and just use crimp rings for easy removal..

When everything is said and done I will have something similar to what you have, using some bolts to wire it up. But no I didn't caulk it, the 8g wire is just over 1/4" so I drilled a 1/4" hole and then wiggled the drill around a little bit and the wire fits very snug. No noticeable air leaks. However I did notice I have a slight air leak on the inside of one of my port pieces so I'm going to have to seal that up. I bought a thing of liquid nails a couple weeks ago but I have no clue where it ended up, which kinda ***** lol

I would have taken your snow over the 4 inches of rain we got yesterday. I still have to work in the rain, but not the snow.

And you weren't kidding about how gigantic that box is. My back hurts just looking at it.

37.5" x 24" x 20"...she's up there haha. Biggest box I've ever built was for my 15 I had and that was 3.5 cubes

that box is HUGE!!!

I cannot understand how people run 2 - 18's in a Hatch.

When the JL 18w6 deal came out I thought about it, then I did some math and said no way would that work right in my trunk.

Everything is looking good. I wouldn't worry about those bolts, no way they will get hot.

The guy who said his friends bolt got so hot they blacken the MDF, I call BS
