Good day folks. I have the above mentioned JVC receiver in my 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee. All has been good until today when I got the error about miswired and needs to be reset. I reset the deck twice, once with the engine off and once while the jeep was running. Worked for a couple minutes then the error came on again. I haven't found any useful info about the causes online, so I'm asking here. I'm going to check my connections at my amp and also check the grounds that I can reach. Not sure if the problem is with the door speakers, sub, or behind the HU itself in the dash. Would a faulty ground cause this error or should I be looking for shorted speaker wires and speaker connections? Any help is greatly appreciated.
