I've decided to purchase this deck for my system. And I know that a lot of people criticize jvc decks for being unreliable in the past. But now they are a lot better in my opinion plus they are easy to use.

Anyone else here own a jvc deck?

I don't have one but I played with this model in person and imho it's up there with the rest of the name brands, except that like you said they do have a bad rep for breaking down fast, hopefully the newer models are different.

JVC has improved quite a bit over the years with their car audio products.

friend has one sounds pretty good on stock speakers,but not many options good to start with though

I still have a stock stereo but when I get the money I'll be looking for a JVC Arsenal, or Pioneer. Too bad most retailers don't have the arsenal models on display, I guess no one is willing to pay that much money for a JVC.
