a couple days ago the rotary knob on my JVC KD-DV5100 froze up solid. It doesn't feel like anything is broken in the mechanism, feels more like it's just jammed. It won't turn, and it's stuck in a depressed position. Currently none of the buttons work on the front of my head unit, I have to use the remote to manipulate things.
What are the chances I could take apart the face and figure out / fix the problem? I don't know how simple these things are to work on. I priced a new face at $130, so i almost might as well by a new complete unit instead of going that route.
