JVC kameleon problems

my dad has a junkyard, and every once in a while we'll come upon some car audio stuff. a week or two ago we found a jvc kameleon cd player, but it wont eject the cd that's in it. it will light up and when i push the eject button the face will slide down, but the cd wont come out. i tried pushing the reset button but that didnt fix it. i was wondering if there was any way i could fix it myself, or how much it would cost to send in to the company and get it fixed. i have no money in it right now, but if i could get it fixed for less than $50 i think it would be worth it.

and, if anyone knows where the place to send it off to would be, the address or a way to contact them would be appreciated.

I have the same stereo and I downloaded a great helper manual for it. It's in (Adobe Acrobat). I can send it to you if you wish. It's everything you need to know about the stereo. As far as the ejecting problem it says to hold down the

(-) side on the (-/+) button for more than 5 seconds. While holding the (^>&gt, hold the (Reset) button, then release the (^>&gt button. Hope this helps get the CD out. Let me know if you want the manual. No charge. Just helping out.

I have one of those and due to it's age it has that problem sometimes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It's simply an old radio and may not be functioning properly if the reset doesn't help you.
