JVC EQ Pro setting help

Just installed a new head unit i purchased at wally world model KD-S37. Looking for some help with adjusting the equalizer. There is a "Q" setting in the EQ Pro menu, just wondering as to what that might be. Thanx.

Thanx for the response. Care to elaborate? What do you mean by "wider"?

the freq your adjusting from narrow to wide...usually its adjusted in .25 or .50 increments....

most radios with this feature have about 4 settings per frequency...you set the one that sonds the best....

The EQ Pro setting gives you a list of frequencies to choose. The Q is the bandwidth factor that is centered on the frequency you choose. Increasing the Q makes the EQ adjustment affect a broader range of frequencies. Make small adjustments and give yourself some time to listen to familiar music before you make more adjustments.
