Sold just won a orion 2500D on ebay.. anyone know who it is? reliable?

always buy paypal only on ebay unless its a few bucks. i hope it works out for ya but you have no leg to stand on if it falls through and thats alot of cash to lose. the only thing you can do if it is broke or you dont recieve it is leave a negative feedback.

someone near Milwaukee where he lives that can go and give him the money if i give you through paypal? otherwise he only wants a check.. wich i dont can give him

u should have thought of this before you bid dont u think
jup.. but i mailed him and asked if he could ship to me, and that was no problem.. and i thought everyone used paypal.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

EBAY has their own buyer protection even if you don't use paypal (for now, that is changing very soon though)

The buyer opens a dispute (between 10 and 60 days after the purchase date)

eBay contacts the seller (immediately after you’ve reported a dispute)

The seller responds (any time within the next 10 days)

The buyer and seller communicate

The dispute is closed (either escalated to Trust and Safety or closed by mutual agreement)

*** So you won't lose your money, but if he is a POS, your money will be tied up with ebay for 2 months

*** If you are still sketched out, you can contact him and tell him the mistake you made, and ask if he'll do a mutual non transaction agreement if you pay for him to relist (which will be under $1 since he did such a basic listing) AND as a nice guy you can offer to him that he should accept paypal AND not put the amp in EBAY motors and it will sell better, which means he might PREFER to relist anyway

Payment details

Payment method

Money order/Cashiers check

Seller's payment instructions

payment by moneyorder only

- I'm going to guess that its 100% scam.

And eBay buyer protection sucks. I bought a wii usb adapter for my friend and when i got it, it was in peices. He didn't insure the package, and charged me 4.00 for priority mail and sent it with a 80 cent "first class" USPS stamp. eBay sided with him, because he has "pictures" to prove it was not broken when he sent it.

That sucks but it is up to the buyer to have it insured. I would have thought you could have argued the shipping method though, especially because EBAY now requires the seller to charge EXACT shipping prices.

To the OP, ebay has a live online help available where you can ask about their buyer protection. Mention Tehgregzor's past problem and see what they say. Print the conversation!
