My question is: what will be the difference in performance between wiring it 4 or 2 ohm load and any possible issues?

My amp is Alpine MRP-M500 and Atrend E12SV Single 12" Vented Subwoofer Enclosure

currently Pioneer Head unit just one pre amp output

I want more bass from this new sub !

Which is better and which recommended?

You can't wire it 4 ohm due to the VC configuration. I'm gonna say the difference (with same amp at the same load, same box just different sub) isn't going to be much. You can wire either one of those subs to see either an 8 or a 2 ohm load. Parallel wiring at 2 ohms is going to put out about four times the power as wired at 8 ohms, which would still be ok with that amp.

IMO, get a proper built box for the R instead of flushing money away with Atrend. The enclosure is going to make more of a difference than anything.

^^^What he said. You've only got 2 wiring options with that sub. 8 ohm or 2 ohm. And not only is that Atrend box too small but I'd be willing to bet it's tuned a lot higher than 33 hz. Get a larger amp. Something that does around 1000 rms @ 2 ohm and a custom box that's at least 2 cubic feet.
