As long as microsoft takes care of the issue and sends you a new one, nothing to worry about.. But yea it is rather annoying how many of these things fail..

Network and online are the same thing big guy. As far as the rest is concerned, that's all opinion. I much prefer the XMB to the xbox's weird *** blade menu, or w/e it's called. I also prefer the PS3 controller so your argument is moot.

I completely and utterly disagree. There is only one single game that's exclusive to the xbox that I really like and that's Crackdown. Everything else is either on the PS3 or PC (and yes, I have a gaming quality PC).

I've had friends ps3's fail as well. they are not indestructible.

I still can't believe how many topics (here and elsewhere) I see about xbox's failing...I need to sell mine before it bricks as well

most people dont follow the rules when running them. 9/10 people i know run the **** things enclosed in an entertainment center with little or no ventilation and then wonder why its like an oven when they open the door. enclose ur PC in an enclosed space with 0 ventilation and see how long that lasts.

im not saying the failures are 100% user error, as ive been through 2 myself and mine sits in free air with nothing around it, but I'd like to see the numbers if people actually took care of them properly. and like already stated, microsoft is at least standing by there mistake and taking care of them. when my ps2 broke just 2 days after the warranty was up sony told me theyd fix it for 175 bucks, you could buy one new for 199!!! been an xbox fan since.

i just got mine back...12 days from the day i sent it,to get it back and they tapped a 1 month xbox live on it too!
