How do you think that class will go for me?

Maybe I will finally be able to understand where Morningwood is coming from when he talks about white racism. I can only hope to rid myself of my white racism with this class.

Ho Snaps, I actually do have blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. Was very blonde as a child, more brownish now.

I would make an "A" in it as far as the work goes, but the teacher probably wouldn't give me an A.

Would be a very interesting class to say the least. I would be King Troll of it.

It will certainly be an interesting class. I've taken "Race and Ethnicity" and "Black Literature" and am signed up for ethnic lit next semester. I come from a pretty racist family(my uncles mostly, but they are very outspoken), so I certainly had to change some of the ways I thought about the world in order to accept the facts that I was presented with. My only real experience with black people before college was dealing with all the big, loud family reunion groups that come up to the Dells every summer from Chicago. Most of them were rude and obnoxious because they were on vacation, so I naturally adopted some fairly racist views. I definitely gained some new insight through these classes and closer interaction with blacks in a normal environment.
