I just messed up pretty badly...i was putting my sub into a box and i slipped with the power drill and went directly through the rubber surround on my Idmax....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

What should i do? Is that fixable?

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/needpics.gif.edd6d28e76618c28c46f343991bcced5.gif ....and test it out and see if it effects preformance in any way...then decide if u want to fill it wt silicon

I know...im an idiot...i already feel like sh!t, so all the comments aren't really doing anything.

I'll go take pics right now, but it's basically like a triangle shaped flap. I don't care about reselling it...i just want it to work properly because it's sharing the same airspace with another idmax.

It's a 12" IDmax V3 D4 btw...ill be back with pics.

EDIT: Can't find my camera...i think my brother took it...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

Did you poke it, or did you tear it?

I poked it...like the power screwdriver slipped and went through the rubber surround, but it doesn't look like a round hole, it's more like a ">" shaped tear, if you know what im saying.

EDIT: When i push on the face of the sub, it feels lighter than the one that isn't poked....it gives way slightly more easily.

yuh. just get some rubber cement or some black silicone. and then put a piece of masking tape on the visible side of the surround, and smear it on the backside and wait till it dries.

then carefully peel off the tape and it should work fine.

Thanks a lot bro.....that seems like the way to go...ill go pick up some silicone in a little bit.

...and i was all excited that the lakers won...this definitely killed my day.
