I want to say around Jan 16th of this year to be exact but dont quote me on that. I do know that it was around the first of the year.when did the change occur, recently?
Generic or name brand?
Name brand for mine is 600$... and for generic it's around 170$.
But insurance covers it anyway so the price doesn't really matter.
lol yea ppl go crazy for there meds, I know when i ran out 2 nights ago i dug through the medicine cabinet like a junkey looking for some left over samplesHah can't complain, it usually works the other way. I'm interning in CVS right now and more often than not we get yelled at because someone's insurance company raised their prices or they hit a donut hole and didn't know it, and their med wasn't covered. People don't realize it isn't our fault. Don't shoot the messenger.
well, its like this....both are antihistimines but they are different medicines. allegras generic name is fexofenadine(notice just allegra, not allegra D) Claritans generic name is desoloratadine. Allegra D contains a second ingredient which is pseudoephedrine which is a decongestant. Claritan is also available with a decongestant. See man, you got me talkin about this and i aint even at work, this sucks, lol. so much to know about it man while at the same time its quite simple. Thats the thing about pharmacy, soo much to keep up with and soo many changesisn't claritin the "cheaper" version of allegra?
well saidregular Allegra there is a generic but not for the D...and fyi all you are paying for if ure doctor wanted it for drainage was the "D" part which is sudafed which can be bought cheap.
Many people take sudafed 2 days before flight and stuff like that.
claritan is a different antihistamine than allegra, same for zyrtec
Fuck Allegra D.
That shit gave me insomnia.
Sleeping a total of 4hrs in a 72hr period FTW. Nothing like going to bed at 5 or 6am & getting up @ 7am for work.
