cuz I own one. and two DPL's now . The ONLY difference between the two drivers is the basket. One has a stamped steel basket (conventional shiva). The other has a 12-spoke basket with push terminals.

The DPL12 is basically the same as the Shiva, just with a bigger motor, cast basket, and a lower Fs. You use the same box sizes for the two drivers, but you end up with 1/3rd octave lower extension with the DPL12 due to the lower Fs.
