Just moved back and I don't really like it :(

Sicily sucked because of the way the things were set up. Our housing was an hour away from the base, and when i first got there, the base sucked total ***. As I left though they were just completing the total renovation, which cost something like a billion Euro. Brand new gym, new movie theatre with an extra screen and theatre seating, all the community buildings were put into one massive building. A bunch of new, nice stuff, but it wasnt like that except for a few months before i left. Its kinda hard to explain though seeing as how no matter what I say, yall will never completey understand what Im talking about.

In Va, the very second we got off the base, the people were rude as hell. We went to our hotel for the night and everyone looked like some type of cracked out *****. They had the worst attitudes I have seen. Even when we went see our house which in a middle-upper class community in Suffolk people were the same. I much prefer North and South Carolina where I am visiting now, or Texas or Florida. Florida was different and Texas just made me feel like I was at home. Maybe because it is?

Either way, Ijust miss the small community where everyone was semi-friendly. Getting hassled by a guy and his ten friends for looking in his general direction wasnt an issue. Maybe the community there just spoiled me, or the fact that being arund military people who actually follow given guidlines and who have morals and dont have he **** you attitude spoiled me. Oh well, guess I will have to get over it.
