Lol sorry for being a newbie but I need some help. I had a sub (12" Mach 5 sub from 6ish years ago) and an amp (AudioQue 1200 I think, also purchased 6ish years ago) in my old Hyundai. Well, I just bought a 2008 Cadillac CTS4 last month and figured why not take my old system and install it. The guy before me already had his sub in there and the wiring was already done. So I installed it just now, blue positive 4guage power into the port on the amp, negative 4guage power into the ground port on the amp, and the tiny wire into the REM (remote on/off) port Then I plugged the RCA cables in. Now here's one thing I just realized. I wasn't sure which RCA cables were left and right so I just guessed. Anyway, I was just sitting there admiring the looks and the sub randomly hit (just once) and I was like wtf is that? Am I seeing things? All is fine, it stopped, I turned the car on and it sounds good. Turn the car off. Randomly looking at my paint job a minute later with the door open and it hits again. The car was fully off. Any idea wtf is going on?
