I just got a shortbed 89' Ford F150 with the 300 straight six and a 5 speed for 500 bucks. Truck is CLEAN. Interior is in great shape, not a single dent, ice cold ac, power windows and locks, good tires, and it runs well. Just needs a tuneup and a little brake improvement. Oh yea 106k miles, and i hear this motors will go 300k plus without a sweat. It was owned by an older man the whole time so there is nothing that was run to death about it. I'm gonna spend my summer makin it my own.

heres what i want to do, in this order.

Get the engine tip top

Dual exhaust

Paint it gloss black i believe

5% tint

cover for the back.

Possibly order 3 more mach 5 MJ 18's and run 4 in a blow through with 2k watts on them. Did i mention porting them biotches?

Wheels

Grill.

Sound like a good deal?

If you don't bother to get a split manifold to actually put true dual exhaust on it you'll hate yourself as it will sound incredibly stupid.If you do bother to get a split manifold to actually put true dual exhaust on it you'll hate yourself because it will still sound stupid being that it's duals behind an I-6.

And the possible returns on mileage if you don't dog the crap out of it (I don't know how you drive) are minimal at best.
