next time wear some cheapo latex gloves. For now use some 80grit sandpaper and go to town. Did a 2am recone before the Sound Decision meet last year and didn't have any gloves on hand, so I know the sandpaper works...

Recone looks good, congrats...

I have no idea lol just a steady hand and nice even pressure while squeezing and the tip on the CA glue from DD made it so much easier

SO do i get the approval for a good Re-Cone?

how much did it cost for re-cone? did DD just send you the parts? what was the benefit of doing it ur self instead of having them doing it just wondering..

you don't have to pay for shipping costs if you do the recone yourself.

for my 9515 dual 1.5 it was $95 plus CA glue and is still alot cheaper than sending the whole woofer in

nice job on the dust cap.I would approve but there is no progress pix of how you got it done so you get a C (for the great job on dust cap)
