no body is trying to brainwash anyone, i just have good results with the r's. ohh, and btw, ive been a member of termpro since 1997... read the post in my sig...

and, no, @ 25 hz, thats not the peak of my cab....

im well over 150 @ 48 hz, but thats not near as impressive to me.

hzsogood, if you really knew anything about termpro and wayne harris, you would know that ive done mid 150s with 2 punch stage 1 tens with 50 watts LEGAL...

best sub out there? not by far. for me, thats a stroker (imho). best sub for getting loud as hell, sound good, and dirt cheap? you cant beat the type-r. and, since im just getting back into competing, i dont have any sponsors anymore (soon though).

9 out of 10 subs will never see a "correct" install. You gotta realize that the standard is right on par with prefab. =\ Well all know how well a Type R takes to a prefab box..

Its a type r ppl wtf... if he can find peak fs in subs and cars it s really not to hard to build a enclosure around that... **** 60% of the idiots in here think type r is god off all subs... I said 9 out of 10 subs will never see a "correct" setup, where "correct" fits into your definition in the post you made yesterday at 11:34PM. Select the text below for my definition of average Joe's install.

I'm willing to bet money that for every 1 Type R sold on Ebay, 9 are sold and installed at Best Buy. With being installed at Best Buy comes the obvious fact that the box will be prefab. On top of that, you get the average Best Buy installer, who's achievements are limited to a basic MECP certification. Sometimes you get lucky and find an installer who really knows his or her stuff, but it's not often.

Then you get the install itself. "Well, here's my tool box, I don't wanna move that. Well if we turn it this way and face this side down it fits. Don't worry, it only gets wet when it rains." Followed by "Well it doesn't seem as loud, but if I turn this knob to the right it gets louder, and if I turn this one to the left it gets more muffled. I don't know what these two switches do, so I messed with them. This wire comes out sometimes and makes sparks, I just stick it back in.."
