just bought a dx 1000.1 for my sa-12

will running this at 2 ohms be too much? it's 1000 rms at 2 ohms and the sub is supposed to only be 600 but everyone says it should be able to take more. will it be able to take that much on this amp?

I personally wouldn't put more than 1k to an sa-12, so if you are putting under to that, as long as it's clean, you will be fine. And in his defense, the "sa-12" part didn't show up in the latest 15 threads list

yeah i'm thinking with the not 14 volt battery i have and everything else it should be under 1000 watts i can't tell if i'm overpowering it or not but thank you. and i think kicker should be clean power but im not really sure
