Juggs ushered in the new era of uberwoofers. They are similar to some of the old DD99/95 motors. Very strong and built to get really loud. They are 10 years old though so the technology is behind. But still great subs

The GZ Nuclear was the first production-made extreme excursion subwoofer. The Jugg wasn't even the dominant SPL driver it was designed to be, let alone the first SQL uberwoofer.

the orginal ground zero used very large 3" coils.. if i remember correctly they where the first to use a 3" 55+mm coil in the nuclear series..

Yep, the GZ Nuke was ahead of its time. These days the "whats the best woofer made" threads are filled with "there is no best"... back then 9 out of 10 replies was "GZ Nuke". You either had one, or you wanted one desperately.

when i spoke with a guy at DD like 3 days ago he said that juggs are the old 99 series

The old jugg's are still solid subs. I took a look at some newer ones and I was unimpressed....2 spiders? seriously?
