Apparently he was riding in the backseat of a car driven by some unidentified person with John in the front passenger seat. The driver reported that father and son were discussing if miracles were real or if God could come down to Earth and stop things from happening...
Early reports indicated it might have been saturday night fever that took him.

I think I heard that the driver was identified as Nick Hogan.
