Which ups?
I worked at the one on Brandt Pk in Dayton, sucked pretty bad.
Do they do full shifts now, or is it still just like 4.5 hours?
When I worked there, it was something like 9am to 1:30pm, or 5pm to 9:30.
Pay was decent, but the short shifts and the mandatory union dues combined to hurt your checks pretty bad.
Good luck though man, hopefully things have gotten better.

Good luck! I applied there over a year ago and they never called me and I had a ton of experience in driving straight trucks and handeling sensitive materials. Did they hire me? Nope, the did however hire a bunch of people that were either female or Black. Go figure. Also that is not geared toward you but more towards ups. Wow jus wow, hope i dont work wit sum dicks. I dont think they were going to call me only reason they probably called me because i had like 2 references that work there and was probably on their supervisors about calling me. the guy on the phone sounded like sort of a dick though, hope he really isnt or im goin to have to speak my mind

I am sure you will be ok. Just do your job and make a good impression. I did hear if you start out in the warehouse and do a good job, they take that into consideration and might give you a better job or a pay increase.

well i jus got back from the interview. i guess i was over dressed compared to everyone else who also showed up to the interview. I guess dressing up for an interview is out the door nowadays. The job wasnt what i thought it was going to be. Pretty lousy pay for what u have to do, i dont see how people at UPS work there, but its a non degree job. wish i still had my last job making my own hours.
But i think i may give the brown a try, plus there were two nice looking chicks that were in the interview wit me, all i can say is i hope they get hired to, can u say phat booties, i was lovin it

UPS = High school drop outs, women, hippies, blacks, child molesters
FEDEX = Community college slackers, white people who were fired from UPS for being to white.
US Post Office = People too fuked up to work at UPS
DHL = People who lost their job in the past 6 months and are just trying to get by.
