jlw7 emblem difference

havent been able to find anything on the net about this but i bought a 13w7 and it has a jl emblem at the bottom instead of the more common w7 emblem. i was looking for another 13w7 but cant find one with the jl emblem so it will match my other one. this kinda *****

post a pic they changed the color of the baskets to.......theres only two.

aniversery addition, and the original the new one has some yellow in it.

I was about to post about this myself.

I just had a 10w6v2 delivered today, and when I unpacked it I was surprised to find a plain JL audio emblem on the cone. I snagged it from ebay for $299, so I was thinking it's fake.

I'm hoping this is a recent change that is common to all W6s & W7s b/c I would hate to have to send this back and wait another week for one that's legit. I also had the grill for this driver delivered today, and it too has the standard emblem instead of the W6 that is shown in the pics online, so I'm thinking this is a recent change.

Can anyone confirm?

Do not send it back! I called jl and they told me they switched to the jl logo on all of their subs that were made this year. Even the w7 will have the jl logo and they just started making the ae logo. If you have a w7 with a jl emblem it just means its not 10 years old. Lol it was made within the last year

From what I've been told the only diffrance between the two logos is what time of the year they were made besides that its the exact same sub.
