w6, but really its more about the enclosure, make sure you get a correct custom built one to your needs, and not a prefab one.

Haven't owned either so I can't say from experience but it seems to be just about the general consensus that the w6 is hard to beat when it comes to SQ. I don't doubt the Icon is a bad sounding sub whatsoever but if you're looking for straight SQ the w6 would probably be your best bet.

well sealed will sound good but ported would be a lil louder but still sound just as good

well what are your listening habbits?

volume

type of music

factory speakers?

off hu power?

a sealed enclosure will have a smother roll off but a proper ported enclosure can be a tremendous amount louder, and still sound amazing.

personally i buy all of my enclosures from starmountain sound (vender on this forum) but another to consider is also dc creations, both credible builders.

you cant beat w6s sealed but ported i would do around 2 cubes and tune 32
