well I finally got to see these subs, they look nice. they sound pretty good 2.

guy wanted me to build him a box, so I did.. he wanted it carpeted but could afford it. he then wanted it sprayed with flay black.. windy day n 3 cans, ummm yeeeeah shit didnt work so well. gonna need to respray.

That is a nice box. I haven't forgotten about you btw. Whenever I get a new car that has some trunkspace, you will be the guy I talk to about a box for my XXX.

How do they sound ? Are they as loud as the older w'3s v1's ...always loved that woofer.

Looks good by the way . MDF soaks up paint...you will need to get some primer or some kilz and seal up the wood if you want the paint to look good

definatly an improvement over their older w3's

and you seriously need to use primer next time. try using a paint roller and wall-primer. its way eaiser to paint the primer on that way. then you just sand it down wih a long block if it does not self level.

im gonna go drop a deuce now. its been crawling around in meh bellay for an hour now.

lol, trying to get him to give me $4 for paint cans was hard enuff, lol.

u get what u pay for, u know.

for the price I charges the box came out real nice. the exterior isnt all that good, but the inside of the box is what counts

the v3's sound alot better than the v2's and also u gotta admit they look sweet.

mdf has to be in the rain for awhile before it is going to be super bad... 15 minutes while getting the box in and hooked up is not bad

Yes they are i have one 12 in my 2005 tacoma. With a 200w alpine m-350 sounds very clean looking to get a 375@4ohm kicker amp to it soon. RMS for the jl 12w3v3 is 300 thought i hope i wont bust the single voice coil. But this sub sounds very clean i had a kicker cvr and the jl sounds cleaner.

how can a SVC be better than a DVC?? why didnt JL keep the DVC on the v3?? would have been just like a w7 only less watts and cheaper..humm
